Online Teen Therapy in Alberta & British Columbia
Being a teen can mean navigating school pressure, changing friendships, big emotions, and expectations that feel hard to meet. I offer online counselling for teens experiencing anxiety, ADHD, autism, emotional overwhelm, and relationship challenges. Together, we make space to understand what's happening and find strategies that fit your life and how your brain works.Â

Anxiety, School & Performance Pressure
School, sports, and expectations can leave you feeling like you're never doing enough. Counselling can help you understand anxiety, navigate perfectionism, and develop ways to manage pressure while making room for rest and the things you enjoy.Â
Support for What You're Navigating
You don't need to know exactly what's wrong or have the right words before starting counselling. We can explore what feels difficult, make sense of your experiences, and work toward changes that matter to you.Â
ADHD, Autism & Understanding Your Brain Â
We explore how your brain works, what drains your energy, and what helps you feel supported. Together, we find approaches to focus, planning, emotions, and daily routines that fit your needs, without expecting you to hide who you are.Â
Friendships, Family & Difficult Experiences
Feeling left out, navigating conflict, or being hurt by someone can affect how you see yourself and connect with others. Counselling offers space to process those experiences, explore boundaries, and practise expressing what you need.Â

What to Expect in Teen Therapy
You don't have to arrive ready to share everything. We start by getting to know each other, exploring what matters to you, and finding a pace that feels manageable. Your interests, strengths, and preferences help shape our sessions.

Some sessions may focus on talking through experiences or relationships. Others may involve practising coping skills, exploring emotions, or finding ways to make school and daily routines more manageable. My approach draws on Narrative Therapy, CBT, and Attachment Therapy, adapted to your needs.Â

Your voice matters in deciding what we work on. We'll also discuss privacy, its limits, and how parents or caregivers may be involved, so you know what to expect.Â

For Parents & CaregiversÂ
You may have noticed your teen withdrawing, feeling overwhelmed, struggling at school, or having difficulty with friendships. You don't need to have all the answers before reaching out.Â
A free 15-minute phone consultation is an opportunity to share your concerns, ask questions, and explore whether my approach may fit your teen's needs. We can also discuss how to introduce counselling to your teen and what caregiver involvement could look like while respecting their privacy and growing independence.Â

Meet Alyssa Cole, MACP, CTÂ
I'm Alyssa, a Counselling Therapist and founder of Stellara Therapy Co. My work with teens draws on experience in education, nursing, youth sports coaching, and counselling - including eight months supporting students in outreach schools in Beaumont and Leduc.Â

Those experiences shaped my interest in working with young people who feel misunderstood, overwhelmed, or out of place. As someone with ADHD, I also bring lived experience of navigating expectations that don't always fit how your brain works. In counselling, I stay curious about your experience and work with you to find approaches that fit.Â
